BSc (Hons) Geography – University of Manchester
MA Urban Regeneration & Development – University of Manchester

Paul joined Planning Potential in early 2013 from a leading retailer, where he worked as a graduate in the convenience property development team.

Since joining Planning Potential Paul has worked on a range of major retail-led schemes, and is increasingly involved in residential schemes – including those that involve listed buildings. He also has experience managing planning portfolios for high street retail and leisure clients.

Having amassed a broad range of cross-sector experience, Paul applies his skills and knowledge by undertaking research, site searches and site appraisals for a range of clients, and conducting health checks and sequential analyses. He also prepares and monitors planning applications, and prepares and submits representations, either for consultation exercises or in response to planning applications.

Paul has responsibility for managing planning portfolios for a number of retail and leisure clients. He also attends and provides responses to planning committees and public consultations, whilst undertaking analysis and monitoring of planning policy and supporting evidence bases.

Outside of work, Paul is a keen sportsman and enjoys football, running and skiing, and has the fortune (or occasional misfortune) or being an Everton season ticket holder. Aside from sport, he also enjoys travelling and has recently embarked upon backpacking adventures around Europe and beyond.
