Sam brings three years planning experience, with expertise in research, policy analysis and planning applications. Sam is currently working towards full Chartered RTPI membership.

Sam joined Planning Potential in September 2025, bringing with him three years of experience following the completion of his postgraduate studies at Newcastle University. He supports senior colleagues across a range of projects, contributing to research, policy analysis, planning appraisals, and the preparation, submission, and ongoing management of planning applications.

Based in Newcastle, Sam also spends part of his time working from Harrogate. He is currently an Associate Member of the RTPI and is working towards full chartered membership.

Outside the office, Sam enjoys walking, exploring new places, socialising with friends, and attending live music events.
