Katy gained experience in a number of different planning roles before joining Planning Potential, and she has built up an impressive track record. Her skills and experience are evident in the quality of work she produces and in the outcomes she achieves.

Katy joined Planning Potential in January 2020 and is based within the residential team. She has enjoyed getting involved with the diverse and challenging aspects that often come with residential projects. She has worked on a number of different projects ranging in size from several bespoke dwellings to major mixed-use schemes. She has increased her understanding and experience of the planning system by undertaking site appraisals, preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals and through engagement with technical consultants.
Katy graduated from the University of Sheffield with a Masters in Town and Regional Planning, and also has a BSC (Hons) in Geography from Sheffield Hallam University. Before joining Planning Potential, she gained experience in a small private consultancy in London.
Outside of the office, Katy enjoys trying out new bars and restaurants in and around London. She also enjoys a number of different sports including netball, swimming and skiing. Aside from sport, Katy also likes travelling, both around the UK and abroad.
