Liza's passion for cultural heritage and history ensures that she provides bespoke and comprehensive advice for her clients, helping them navigate the built environment.

MSc Historic Conservation – Oxford Brookes University

MA International Cultural Policy – University of Warwick

Liza joined our heritage team as Heritage and Planning Advisor in March 2024. Liza has a specialist background in Built Heritage Consultancy and in 2022 gained an MSc in Historic Conservation at Oxford Brookes University. Her dissertation focused on the reuse of historic ruins, having particular regard to the use of modern materials.

Prior to her appointment with Heritage Potential, she worked as a Heritage Consultant at Vitruvius Heritage and as a Property Team Assistant at Blenheim Palace.

Her professional expertise includes providing strategic advice and issuing specialist reports for projects relating to heritage and the built environment: including listed buildings, conservation areas, scheduled monuments and historic landscapes. She is particularly adept at conducting thorough research and analysis, which includes archival research, on-site assessments, and planning policy analysis.

Liza's passion for cultural heritage and history is evident, and she enjoys visiting heritage sites in the United Kingdom and abroad. She actively participates in 'The SPAB Working Parties' and has volunteered for Wren300 Square Mile Churches Project. Outside of her professional pursuits, Liza has various hobbies, including film photography, fossil hunting, and playing tennis.
