Christian began his career in rural development before moving to London over 10 years ago to work for another consultancy where he fell into high street planning. He has since greatly expanded his experience in the high street, mixed-commercial and specialist residential sectors.

He has a very good understanding of the planning system with respect to high streets and how they operate, and uses this information to provide succinct and pragmatic advice tailored to individual operators' commercial needs and objectives. Christian is a skilled advocate, strategist and is adept at problem solving and risk management.

Christian acts for a variety of national and local retail, hospitality, entertainment and leisure operators and commercial landlords as a planning agent. He has also advised on government policy, provided training on technical planning matters and spoken at events regarding the future of high streets, retail and similar topics.

Christian is also a qualified ski and tennis instructor, and enjoys these sports outside of work, as well as spending time with his wife and daughter, hiking and taking on the occasional building and gardening project.
