Jamie’s confident approach to planning projects enables him to advise and manage applications, presenting robust and compelling cases.
BA (Hons) Geography – The University of Hull
Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
Joining Planning Potential in 2014, Jamie has a detailed understanding of the planning process and wider apparatus that influences place making allowing him to advise, manage and drive development proposals confidently and efficiently.
Appraising development prospects as part of initial site reviews, promotion of sites through both pre-application and the Local Plan process, through to the preparation and managing of a breadth of applications, Jamie’s exposure to a wide portfolio of projects – and at different stages in the process – enables him to advise and formulate strategies on an array of development proposals.
With an outward facing role to clients and other built environment professionals, he provides commercially-astute advice and helps achieve deliverable planning consents consistent with client aspirations.
Outside of work, he likes to play tennis (not as well as he used to), exploring the Yorkshire countryside and talking about cars (too much). A fresh coffee or session ale can also keep him content for a bit.
