Anthony Okereke

Communications Manager, London

Anthony specialises in providing strategic advice on high-profile development schemes and supporting clients to navigate complex planning environments.

BSc Civil Engineering – Coventry University

Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute

Having worked on several development schemes across the UK, Anthony has extensive experience leading projects from concept to completion and is an advocate for taking a proactive consultation approach to planning and development. By listening to stakeholders early in the process, Anthony can find innovative ways to enable decision-makers and influencers to actively support schemes.

He has supported clients to obtain planning consents on balloted estate regeneration, student and older people’s living, strategic Green Belt allocations and promoting sites through the Local Plan process.

He currently serves as a Councillor in a London Borough where he is Cabinet Member for Housing, helping to deliver new homes and tackle homelessness. He is a board member at Meridian Home Start; a company set up to provide affordable private rented accommodation, giving him a clear client-side perspective to the built environment industry and the challenges associated with bringing forward development.

He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering, is currently studying for an MA in Urban and Regional Planning, and is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

When he is not working, Anthony enjoys being creative with pottery making, pottery painting; he loves watching true crime and travelling with friends.
