Planning Potential secured approval at planning committee for extensive renovation and basement proposals to a property in the Conservation Area in RBKC.
The proposals included for substantial demolition and extension alongside a new basement to a prominent corner building in the Conservation Area.
We worked alongside the client and architects to carefully develop the proposal which would be sympathetic and in keeping with the surrounding conservation area. We engaged with Officers at RBKC to obtain positive pre-application feedback and assisted the client in engaging with neighbours and the nearby resident association. Despite some neighbour objections regarding the construction impacts, we received a resolution to grant at planning committee.
We are currently advising the client on post decision matters concerning implementation, amendments to the scheme and the discharge of conditions.
