The provision of an orangery, and a fantastic new beer garden to expand this popular riverside pub.
The Swan is a popular 18th Century pub with riverside garden in the heart of Walton-on-Thames, with the garden overlooking the river Thames.
The proposals secured an attractive single storey extension (orangery) to the southern elevation of the existing public house, alongside internal refurbishment, repositioning of a seating booth and alterations to the garden area including 6 new jumbrellas. It is important for public houses to provide high quality internal and external areas, so that food and drink can continue to be enjoyed all year round and to respond to customer demand for comfortable surroundings and a wider food offer.
