Planning Potential were delighted to assist Fraher Architects in securing planning permission for the demolition of the existing industrial buildings and redevelopment of the site for a passive eco house with two street facing houses.
From the offset, we engaged closely with Fraher to provide them with planning advice on the use and ways to tackle the issue with the loss of an employment site. We worked with them to ensure the scheme respected the surrounding residential amenity and enhanced the street scene. We prepared a robust planning case for the redevelopment of the site.
The scheme required a redesign to address design details, but permission for this great proposal on a tight urban site was subsequently granted permission by Lewisham Council.
