Planning Potential were delighted to secure planning permission for the creation of a garden pavilion and associated works in the grounds of a Grade II Listed dwelling and gardens despite an initial negative pre-app response from the Conservation Officer.

The Manor house and listed gardens were designed by Harry Inigo Triggs and built in 1922-23 and so have historic significance.

We were brought on board following negative pre-application discussions where the Conservation Officer could not support development in the forefront of the listed house and gardens. We worked closely with the architects and heritage advisors to bring forward a scaled back scheme which was sympathetic to the house and respected the original Triggs garden layout and which the Council could subsequently support.

Following this success, we have been retained as planning consultants for other works at the site and we have just submitted an application for a substantial tree house in the grounds.
