On behalf of PJN Properties, Planning Potential successfully secured planning permission for the redevelopment of a dated industrial site in Uxbridge to provide a modern warehouse offering 2 units to meet the latest occupier requirements.

On behalf of PJN Properties, Planning Potential successfully secured planning permission for the redevelopment of a dated industrial site in Uxbridge to provide a modern warehouse offering 2 units to meet the latest occupier requirements.  

Located within a designated Strategic Industrial Location, the scheme offered the potential to modernise and intensify B2 and B8 floorspace in an accessible industrial location. Following pre-application discussions with Hillingdon, Planning Potential led a consultant team in preparing a detailed planning application.  

Following submission, we initiated early discussions with the case officer to ensure they had a full understanding of the proposal and to seek confirmation of statutory consultees. Our relationship with the officer allowed comments to be addressed swiftly with the application going to Committee and securing unanimous support.  

Following the initial decision, the client instructed Planning Potential to submit amendments to the scheme which necessitated the need for a new planning application. A revised application was subsequently submitted and secured approval at Committee within the statutory target date, allowing the client to continue with their intended construction programme.  

Planning Potential were also instructed to discharge planning conditions prior to the client commencing works on site, allowing the development to progress successfully.
