Planning permission secured to support EDRI’s plan to deliver 1,000 high-speed charging points per year

EDRI is EON’s charge point operator, combining network development, construction, and operation of public charging infrastructure for electric cars and commercial vehicles.

As part of a growing portfolio, we provided initial due diligence and commentary on supporting plans and documents before preparing our own supporting planning note, submitting and managing proposals for a six-bay electric vehicle charging facility, amendments to the wider car park layout and all associated works.

By profiling the demand for and support of new electric vehicle infrastructure at both local and national levels, and applying the relevant policies to demonstrate how the proposals accord with the development plan, planning permission was secured under delegated powers within statutory timeframes and with no pre-commencement conditions.
