Tenpin to open a new bowling alley and family fun centre in Harpurhey’s former Wilko unit providing a vibrant new use into the shopping centre

Following the closure of Wilkos in 2023, the large unit remained vacant until we were able to assist with the planning applications required to enable Tenpin to open their third venue in Manchester.
A S73 amendment application was required to extend both the opening and delivery hours of the retail unit to align with Tenpin’s business model.
We collaborated closely with Tenpin’s licensing team and noise consultants to prepare and submit a robust application demonstrating that extended opening and delivery hours would not adversely affect nearby residents.
We promptly addressed all comments received during the application process and secured delegated approval with no consultee objections or public opposition received.
Summary of Achievements

- Delegated approval with no objections
- Helping to realise Tenpin’s third Manchester venue
