The Bristol team was shortlisted as Planning Team of the Year at the Awards, which aim to acknowledge those companies and organisations whose work has stood out from the crowd in the past year.

Planning Potential’s Bristol team were delighted to attend the Insider SW Property Awards in Bristol’s city centre. The Bristol team had been shortlisted as Planning Team of the Year at the Awards, which aim to acknowledge those companies and organisations whose work has stood out from the crowd in the past year.

The Awards were presented at a glittering ceremony attended by over 300 people, with lots of networking opportunities and some good speakers. Comedian Mark Watson provided enough light hearted banter to ensure revelries didn’t overtake proceedings, while the South West Business Insider editor, David Clensy provided an interesting overview of the South West property market. We were very happy to have our view confirmed – the South West market is bouyant and has hosted some significant property deals recently. This was followed by an introduction to the University of Bristol’s exciting and transformative plans for the new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, by Barra Mac Ruairi, Director of Estates and Bursar at the University.

Our very own Dan Templeton presented the award for Residential Development of the Year award, sponsored by Planning Potential, a worthy win for Stride Treglown for Paintworks III. Although the team were a bit disappointed he was word-perfect and didn’t include an Oscar’s style error as promised!

All-in-all, it was a great evening, and while we were disappointed not to win an award, we were delighted to be included with the great and good of the South West property market. Look out for us next year!
