Joining Planning Potential in 2014, Jamie has a detailed understanding of the planning process and wider apparatus that influences place making allowing him to advise, manage and drive development proposals confidently and efficiently.

With 10 years’ experience, having joined Planning Potential as a Planning Assistant, he works across office’s and is a key player is our residential, healthcare, renewables and commercial teams. Appraising development prospects as part of initial site reviews, promotion of sites through both pre-application and the Local Plan process, through to the preparation and managing of a breadth of applications, Jamie’s knowledge and experience enables him to advise and formulate strategies that stand up to the test of planning policy requirements.

With an outward facing role to clients and other built environment professionals, he provides commercially-astute advice and helps achieve deliverable planning consents consistent with client aspirations.

Outside of work, he likes to play tennis (not as well as he used to), exploring the Yorkshire countryside and talking about cars (too much). A fresh coffee or session ale can also keep him content for a bit.
