James Tavernor

Planner, Bristol

Having spent time working for a national property developer, and in both public and private sector planning roles, James has a thorough understanding of the planning system, as well as being aware of the commercial demands of development projects.

James joined the Bristol team in March 2018 having previously worked for a national property developer, a planning consultant in London and local government in Melbourne, Australia. 

During these varying roles, James has gained a range of experience in residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors. Providing him with a good understanding of the planning system and the requirements for successful development.

His skills include the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals, and preparing written representations for nation and local policy.

Outside of work, James is a keen supporter of Fulham F.C. and Bath Rugby.
